Back to the index Lisbon São Silvestre My first race after my knee surgery in October, I chose a shorter distance, not to damage the knee too much. My wife wanted to go to Lisbon and I found out that they would have the São Silvestre, a traditional race that had started in São Paulo and now happens in many cities around the world. We spent the week before the event in Lisbon doing sightseeing and on December 30th I got to the start line of this event. It was not my best showing, I finished the 10 km in 55'28''. Considering that I had not trained at all, I guess I cannot complain.
